Certified Police Officer
ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS THAT ARE CURRENTLY CONNECTICUT P.O.S.T.C. CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICERS WILL BE REVIEWED.
The Clinton Police Department is seeking current Connecticut POST Certified patrol officers for the position of Patrol Officer. Starting salary range is $71,950-$77,190 per year plus benefits, longevity and pension plan. Our Patrol Division works a 4-2 schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be either active Connecticut P.O.S.T.C. certified officers in good standing with their current department, or have retired in good standing, still having Connecticut P.O.S.T.C. police officer status.
HIRING PROCESS
The selection process will include, at minimum, a detailed review of your application packet, and the successful completion of the Department’s selection process which includes but may not be limited to the following:
- Written Exam
- Physical Agility Testing
- Oral Board Examination
- Police Commission Oral Board Examination
- Polygraph Examination
- Chief's Interview
- Psychological Examination
- Detailed Background Investigation
- Medical Exam
