Class II Special Officers:
The Deal Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Class II Special Officer for the 2023 summer season. Applicants are required to be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a resident of New Jersey during the appointment term. Applicants must have a good reputation and be of sound moral character, possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license and undergo a complete background investigation. SLEO II certification is required to apply for this position.
