NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR

Lifeguard position for Lake Horicon

Prerequisites:

• American Red Cross lifeguard training
• American Red Cross Community First aid and Safety
• American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.

Training may be provided if need be.

Starting Salary: $18.00 per hour

Lifeguard Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Identifies potential threats to safety
• Watches over patrons to ensure they are safe
• Rescues patrons in danger of drowning or in need of first aid
• Contacts appropriate persons in case a situation escalates beyond their expertise
• Assists with swimming lessons
• Enforces the facility’s rules
• Maintains a level of physical competence to carry out the job
• Inspects facility and immediately reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor
