• Competitive Starting Salary. A competitive starting salary range $67,915 - $91,274 (2024) with a top salary of $145,768 (2024), based on your experience and qualifications, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• United States citizenship AND reside in New Jersey at the time of appointment.
• A High School diploma/equivalent.
• A valid New Jersey driver's license.
• New Jersey Police Training Commission Certified, OR
• Be currently enrolled in a New Jersey Certified Police Academy, OR
• Be a New Jersey Certified Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO) Class Il and meet the requirements set by the New Jersey Police Training Commission to be eligible for a waiver.
