THE CITY OF MERIDEN IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR

ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICERS

WE WANT YOU FOR THE MERIDEN POLICE DEPARTMENT

The City of Meriden announces an open recruitment process for the position of entry level Police Officer. Applicants will be required to successfully complete a written examination, drug screening, physical ability test, thorough background investigation, polygraph, psychological, oral interview, spelling test, handwritten essay, and physical examination. 

The City will accept applicants who have met the application criteria as set below.


APPLICATION PROCESS:

•You must take and pass the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association written test
•You must take and pass the Police Physical Ability Assessment Program (CHIP)
•You must be 21 by the date of the appointment
•You must complete an online application and upload a resume to PoliceApp.com

Communications regarding your testing schedule, test results, and advancement in these testing processes will ONLY be done via email. Therefore, you must check your email often and log onto PoliceApp.com to view updates
