NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT

(BUCKS COUNTY, PA)

The Newtown Township Police Department is now accepting applications for police officer.

Newtown Township is a community oriented police department which has great community support from the home owners, businesses, schools and religious institutions. We have a team of excellent officers and support staff who have proven to be the “best of the best,” and we are looking for talented individuals to join our ranks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Each applicant must have passed a standardized police testing process in 2022-2023 OR be registered for the Bucks County Consortium in October 2023 OR Completed or will complete their Act 120 training between January 2022 - March 2024.
  • Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer
  • US Citizen & 21 years old
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • No Misdemeanor or Felony Convictions
  • Valid PA driver’s license
  • Good Moral Character
  • Able to Perform the duties of a police officer
