ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER
The Old Lyme Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Entry Level Police Officer. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass examinations that include written, oral board, polygraph, psychological, medical, intensive background investigation and must possess a valid CHIP card. The Town of Old Lyme offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Benefits include a defined contribution pension plan, health, dental, life insurance, take home car and generous paid time off. Officers work a 5/3 schedule and the current salary range as of 7/01/22 is (Step 1) $62,557 – (Step 4) $81,430. Upon graduation from the POSTC Academy the officer must have residency within 25 miles of the Town of Old Lyme.
