2025 Class I Special Officers & Part Time Dispatcher
The Deal Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Class I Special Officer for the 2025 summer season as well as for the position of Part Time Dispatcher.
Applicants are required to be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a resident of New Jersey during the appointment term. Applicants must have a good reputation, be of sound moral character, possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license and undergo a complete background investigation.
A SLEO I certification is NOT required to apply for that position. Experience is preferred but not required for Dispatcher.
